As part of the "Media Bridges" initiative—one of the key programs under the Saudi Media Forum—the Saudi Broadcasting Authority is organizing a strategic workshop titled "Towards Strategic Partnerships in Content Production and Marketing." The event is being held within the framework of the Arab Radio and Television Festival in Hammamet, Tunisia.
The workshop embodies the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s vision to build integrative relationships between media institutions, digital platforms, and tech companies across the African continent.
It brings together prominent figures from the Arab and international media landscape, including representatives from Arab broadcasting authorities, experts from global tech giants such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Huawei, as well as founders of Arab OTT platforms, researchers and practitioners in media data analytics, a representative from a major social media platform, and specialists in translation technologies and artificial intelligence. This diverse lineup reflects the breadth of expertise and the wide scope of potential collaboration.
Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority and President of the Saudi Media Forum, affirmed that the "Media Bridges" initiative is a dynamic tool for forging new alliances that position the Kingdom as a leading hub for media, technology, and knowledge. He emphasized its alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly the ambition to transform Saudi Arabia into a global center for creative content and digital innovation in the media sector.
This initiative marks a continuation of the Forum’s and the Authority’s ongoing efforts to reinforce Saudi Arabia’s presence on the regional and global stage through high-impact initiatives that support creative content and foster innovation in a rapidly evolving media environment.
