The Forum Talk Stage, one of the four main platforms at the Saudi Media Forum, hosted nine insightful panel discussions, covering a wide range of media-related topics, with a particular focus on media planning and the development of Saudi talent in communication and journalism. In an open discussion titled "Media Planning Amid Challenges and Digital Transformation," media experts emphasized the need to train specialized media professionals in crisis and emergency management. They also advocated for expanding scholarship opportunities with international universities, highlighting the current shortage of qualified media professionals across various sectors. Hussein Al-Qahtani, spokesperson for the National Center for Meteorology, stressed the importance of having Saudi media professionals specialized in critical sectors, particularly in crisis management. He pointed out that this responsibility should be shared across all media institutions in the Kingdom. Dr. Badr Hakami, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences at King Abdulaziz University, echoed this sentiment, proposing a significant expansion of media scholarships across all specialized fields. He called for stronger collaboration between universities, the National Emergency Management Authority, and international institutions, urging greater emphasis on specialized media training programs abroad. The Forum Talk Stage also featured interactive discussions on various topics related to media, technology, and the economy, with the participation of leaders, officials, and industry experts. The Saudi Media Forum continues for its second consecutive day, bringing together prominent local and international media figures. Alongside the forum, the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX) is also taking place, recognized as the largest specialized media exhibition in the Middle East, featuring over 250 global companies showcasing the latest innovations in the industry.
