Saudi Broadcasting Authority and Saudi Media Forum Participate in CABSAT 2025 with Interactive Pavilion

The Saudi Broadcasting Authority and the Saudi Media Forum participated in the CABSAT 2025 International Exhibition, held in Dubai, through an interactive pavilion showcasing the transformation of the Saudi media industry. This participation reflects the commitment of both the Authority and the Forum to keeping pace with leading international media production markets, exploring the latest advancements in broadcasting and content technologies, and attracting global companies and organizations to engage with the Saudi Media Forum and its accompanying exhibition, the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX)—recognized as an international platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange in media. The pavilion serves as a platform to present the Authority’s initiatives and strategic direction, while also promoting media and investment opportunities available in the Kingdom, represented by its national platform—the Saudi Media Forum—and its exhibition. This reflects Saudi Arabia’s evolving image as a promising regional hub for content creation. As part of the exhibition activities, the Saudi Media Forum organized a strategic meeting under the umbrella of the “Media Bridges” initiative. The session brought together leading global media figures to discuss critical issues shaping the future of broadcasting and production, including digital archiving, production and post-production, multilingual channels, over-the-top (OTT) broadcasting, social media integration, and user experience enhancement. Mohammed Al-Harthi, President of the Saudi Media Forum, emphasized that the participation of the Broadcasting Authority in CABSAT is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s international media presence, positioning the Kingdom as a leading global influencer in media—intellectually, technologically, and culturally. He further noted that the Forum aims to consolidate its role as a comprehensive platform that anticipates the future of media and forges strategic alliances capable of shaping the next phase of the industry.
