The Saudi Fund for Development: A "Development Partner" for the Saudi Media Forum 2025

SPA The Saudi Media Forum has announced a partnership with the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), under which the fund will serve as a "development partner" for the forum and the Future of Media Exhibition. The event is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from February 19 to 21. CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority and Chairman of the Saudi Media Forum, Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, stated, "We are pleased to announce our partnership with the Saudi Fund for Development. This collaboration will enrich the experience of forum attendees and support participants in the Future of Media Exhibition by highlighting Saudi Arabia’s efforts in international development through the fund over the past 50 years. The partnership will also contribute to panel discussions aimed at advancing humanitarian and developmental media, featuring speakers from international and developmental organizations, as well as workshops focused on development media and international communication, leveraging the SFD’s expertise in this field." The fourth edition of the Saudi Media Forum is expected to shed light on the latest changes driven by global developments, as well as current and emerging trends in the media sector. It aims to address challenges and ensure the sustainability of media investments amid evolving realities. The forum will also explore the concept of new media management, reassessing the sources of media flows, re-evaluating media management and resource strategies, and striving for a sustainable and effective approach in the industry. Additionally, it will seek innovative solutions to enhance media offerings, adapt to shifting trends, and meet audience expectations. Notably, the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX) will be held as part of the forum’s activities over three days. The event will conclude with an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding achievements in six key media categories.
