Saudi Media Forum Showcases the Success Story of the National Super App "Tawakkalna"

The Saudi Media Forum 2025, in its fourth edition, highlighted the success story of "Tawakkalna," the Kingdom’s national super app, as a pioneering model for digital transformation and government integration in Saudi Arabia. The application has successfully introduced innovative solutions that have enhanced the efficiency of digital government services, enabling seamless and secure access to a wide range of services through a unified digital platform. This was discussed during a panel session titled "The Success Story of Digital Transformation in Saudi Arabia," where Eng. Saleh bin Salem Musibah, Assistant Director of the National Information Center for the Tawakkalna Ecosystem, elaborated on the concept of the national super app and the innovative methodology behind integrating government services into Tawakkalna. He emphasized that the user experience has become more secure and streamlined, providing citizens and residents with a centralized hub for all government services through a single platform. He further stated that SDAIA continues to develop Tawakkalna, aiming to make it a globally competitive digital platform that consolidates government services into one interface, enhancing the user experience and ensuring more efficient, seamless, and secure access to services. Looking ahead, he revealed that Tawakkalna's future strategy focuses on expanding service integrations, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), and utilizing big data analytics to enhance performance efficiency and provide a comprehensive digital experience. This approach seeks to harmonize government services through a unified platform, ensuring higher user satisfaction rates, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation objectives, and supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goal of delivering advanced and secure digital services. Meanwhile, Eng. Yasser bin Faleh Al-Shammari, Deputy Governor for Business and Digital Transformation at the Digital Government Authority, discussed the authority’s role in fostering intergovernmental integration and supporting agencies through various strategic initiatives and projects that drive digital excellence. He praised SDAIA’s efforts in empowering government entities by providing comprehensive digital services through Tawakkalna, expressing strong optimism about the future of government services in Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that digital integration, led by the Digital Government Authority and SDAIA, is paving the way for a smart government ecosystem driven by data and artificial intelligence, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s leadership in global digital governance.
