Nine projects have qualified for the final stage of the Media Innovation Bootcamp (Saudi MIB), preparing to compete as part of the Saudi Media Forum initiatives in partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). The initiative aims to develop Saudi media through AI-driven solutions. The Chairman of the Saudi Media Forum and CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, stated that the bootcamp has worked on developing more than 100 creative media ideas, emphasizing that these ideas reflect a present-day creativity and enlightened minds striving to pave new paths for the future of national media. Al-Harthi described the bootcamp as an opportunity to integrate media projects within defined pathways, ensuring that the forum produces ideas that reflect the growth and technological advancement of Saudi media. He also commended the efforts of the participants and supervisors in this initiative, expressing his eagerness to see their innovations shape the media landscape. Meanwhile, Dr. Ayman Al-Saidi, a member of the Media Innovation Bootcamp judging panel, highlighted that the bootcamp represents a pivotal step in supporting the digital transformation of Saudi media. He noted that it empowers media professionals and creatives to produce more impactful and innovative content. Al-Saidi explained that the bootcamp is built on three key tracks: Developing AI-powered interactive platforms that personalize media content. Creating digital platforms that facilitate collaborative media production. Supporting innovative Saudi content ideas that reflect national identity through modern and engaging approaches. He emphasized that the Media Innovation Bootcamp is the first specialized media incubator within the Saudi Media Forum, providing participants with expert mentorship and continuous evaluation from a specialized judging panel. Furthermore, Al-Saidi revealed that the evaluation criteria focus on innovation, user experience quality, effectiveness, and technological sustainability. He stressed that this initiative opens new frontiers for Saudi media by integrating creative storytelling with advanced technology, ultimately enhancing the competitiveness of local content on both regional and global levels. It is noteworthy that the fourth edition of the Saudi Media Forum is being held in Riyadh, the Arab Media Capital, aligning with the ongoing transformations in the sector and the evolution of media and communication technologies. The forum includes scientific sessions, workshops, and public discussions where media professionals exchange proposals and initiatives aimed at advancing professional media production and fostering competition. Additionally, the event hosts the "Future of Media Exhibition" (FOMEX), recognized as the largest media expo in the Middle East, alongside an awards ceremony featuring various media excellence categories.
