A key highlight of the day was the launch of the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX), one of the forum’s most anticipated side events. FOMEX welcomed over 250 local, regional, and international companies, showcasing the latest technologies and solutions in media production, digital broadcasting, and content creation. The forum also witnessed the signing of six agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors. These agreements focus on developing digital infrastructure, launching new media products, and advancing key sectors such as tourism, culture, and media production in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. Interactive workshops were also held, emphasizing media innovation, digital content creation, and the latest industry trends, while equipping media professionals with new skills. The first day of the forum saw active participation from ministers, senior executives, and decision-makers, who praised the cutting-edge innovations that are reshaping the media industry. In-depth discussions on media investments and the future of the industry also took center stage. Visitors at the Future of Media Exhibition engaged with interactive initiatives designed to drive creativity, innovation, and industry transformation. These experiences aimed to empower young media professionals, refine their skills, and prepare them for the future, recognizing them as the driving force of change in the evolving media landscape. The Saudi Media Forum, taking place in Riyadh from February 19-20, serves as a premier platform for global media leaders, experts, and researchers to discuss the latest advancements, share insights, and explore emerging trends. The forum plays a crucial role in enhancing knowledge exchange, fostering influence, and elevating the media content industry on a global scale.
