Saudi Broadcasting Authority Signs Six Agreements in Broadcasting and Media Training on Day One of the Saudi Media Forum

The Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) signed six agreements covering broadcasting, media training, and strategic partnerships with several public and private entities on the first day of the Saudi Media Forum, held in Riyadh from February 19-20. The agreements aim to enhance collaboration and develop high-quality media content.
The agreements were signed with Arabsat, STC, the Royal Commission for AlUla, the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information, the National eLearning Center, and Red Sea Global.
The agreement with the Royal Commission for AlUla seeks to strengthen the commission’s international presence by facilitating media coverage of visiting delegations during summits, international conferences, and seasonal events. It also ensures comprehensive media support for local and global initiatives organized by the commission, highlighting AlUla’s historical and tourism significance.
The agreement with the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information focuses on data sharing and geospatial information exchange to enhance Saudi Arabia’s global media representation and showcase its geospatial advancements. It also includes training national media professionals and supporting awareness campaigns about geospatial technologies and their impact.
Additionally, the cooperation agreement with the National eLearning Center is designed to empower digital education and training professionals at SBA through workshops and strategic support, with the center assisting in developing specialized learning pathways.
The Saudi Media Forum and Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX) serve as a groundbreaking event, bringing together technology, creativity, and global partnerships to shape the future of media. The forum provides a platform for industry leaders and decision-makers, while also hosting the prestigious Saudi Media Forum Awards, which aim to foster innovation, encourage competition, and honor outstanding contributions in media development.
