35 Panel Discussions on the First Day of the Saudi Media Forum 2025

The fourth edition of the Saudi Media Forum will launch with 35 panel discussions and workshops on its first day, hosted across four main platforms: "Aramco Theater," "Forum Talks," "Investment Platform," and "Inspiration Platform." These sessions will feature prominent officials, experts, and media decision-makers from local, regional, and international spheres, addressing key topics in the media industry.
The Aramco Theater, the forum’s main stage, will focus on major issues and future trends through 10 key sessions. One of the highlights includes the opening session titled "Energy Corridors and Decision-Making," featuring HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy, discussing the future of the sector and the impact of media on global markets. Additionally, former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will explore the role of media in shaping political leadership in his session "Media and the Making of Political Leaders," reflecting on how media coverage influenced his political trajectory.
The "Forum Talks" stage, an interactive discussion platform, will host nine sessions in an informal setting, bringing together media professionals and forum guests to discuss industry transformations. Among the key sessions is "Saudi Arabia’s Journey to the 2034 World Cup," featuring Hamad Al-Balawi, Head of the Saudi 2034 FIFA World Cup Bid Unit, Dr. Turki Al-Awwad, Vice President of the Arab Sports Journalism Federation, and Qatari sports journalist Mohammed Al-Kuwari. Another session will delve into the creative economy, exploring how media fosters global markets and partnerships, while a third will discuss the future of content creation across digital and broadcast platforms.
The Investment Platform, designed for idea exchange and collaboration, will feature six sessions on key media investment topics, including "The Future of Radio," "Paid Digital Journalism," and "The Role of Media in Enhancing Investment and Brand Building."
Meanwhile, the Inspiration Platform will highlight influencer experiences and audience engagement, featuring 10 diverse topics, such as "Snapchat: Saudi Arabia’s Preferred Platform and Its Influence on the Media Landscape," and "Understanding Audience Trends Using Advanced Technologies and Insights."
The Saudi Media Forum 2025 reaffirms its pioneering role in fostering global dialogue on the future of media, addressing industry challenges and opportunities, and advancing regional and international media development.
