The journalistic work must primarily rely on data analysis and usage, whether using open data or data specifically collected and researched for the project.

If the material is in a language other than Arabic, a complete Arabic translation is required.

The work should show how data was used to draw conclusions or highlight specific aspects of the topic.

The work should include visual elements like charts or infographics/motion graphics to simplify the content for the audience.

Data sources should be clearly provided, whether the data is open or acquired through official requests or other means.

Compliance with journalism ethics, including privacy protection, non-distortion of data, and respecting data collection and usage laws.

The material may cover any sector, whether economic, social, cultural, sports, etc., addressing local, regional, or global topics, presented by governmental, private, or non-profit sectors.

The material must meet ethical journalism standards such as integrity, accuracy, and objectivity, and comply with relevant laws in the Kingdom.
