The evaluation criteria include the use of innovative visual elements, such as infographics and motion graphics, to enhance content clarity and effectively convey information.

Terms and Conditions

The journalistic material must have been worked on during the current year 2024.

The journalistic work must primarily rely on data analysis and usage, whether open data or data collected and investigated specifically for the project.

If the material is in a language other than Arabic, an Arabic translation of the entire material is required.

The work must demonstrate how data was used to reach conclusions or highlight specific aspects of the journalistic material's topic.

The work must contain visual elements such as data visualizations or infographics/motion graphics to help simplify the material for the audience.

Clearly present data sources, whether the data is open or obtained through official requests or other means.

Adherence to journalism ethics, including privacy protection, avoiding data distortion, and respecting data collection and usage laws.

The material can cover any sector whether economic, social, cultural, sports, or others. Whether covering local, regional, or global topics, and whether presented by government, private, or non-profit entities.

The material must adhere to journalism ethical standards such as integrity, accuracy, objectivity, and relevant laws and regulations in the Kingdom.
