The Saudi Media Forum Explores the Future of the Sector with the Participation of Media Leaders from 30 Countries


Over 2000 media leaders from 30 countries are participating in the Saudi Media Forum, which will be held for three days in Riyadh next February. This third edition of the forum, which is organized by the Saudi Broadcasting Authority in corporation with the Saudi Journalists Association, under the slogan “Media in a Shaping World”.


The Saudi Broadcasting Authority confirmed that the forum is an opportunity for media professionals to meet, discuss the future of the sector, and build a network of relationships in the field.


The authority explained that the interaction witnessed in the past two editions of the forum motivated it to further refine and develop the third edition, which aspires to be a media event that serves the media industry, expecting the number of visitors to reach more than 20,000 from inside and outside the Kingdom.


The sessions of the third edition of the Saudi Media Forum, over the days of February 20 and 21, will review about 100 specialized papers, visions and experiences, with an elite group of local and international media specialists.


As part of the forum’s activities, the Future of Media Exhibition “FOMEX” will be held, which will receive visitors for 3 days starting from February 19-21. It is an artistic, technical and media exhibition that is considered the largest of its kind in the Middle East. It reviews modern experiences in the media industry and activates modern television production activity. In addition to keeping pace with the rapid pace of media transformations, by attracting leading companies and expertise in the field of global production.


The forum, in appreciation of the innovators in the sector, honors the winners of the Saudi Media Forum Award, in the tracks Journalism, Audiovisual Production, Research Papers, Digital Media, Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Media Personality of the Year 2024.


The award aims to honor creative pioneers of local and Arab media, encourage distinguished professional and academic works in the media, motivate media competencies to excel in their media performance, appreciate the personalities who contributed to the Saudi media journey, and enhance the pioneering Saudi experiences in the media and communication industry.
