The Secretariat of the Saudi Media Forum Prize organized a workshop titled “Arbitration Standards and its Executive Regulations” as part of its preparations for the launching of the Saudi Media Forum in its third edition. The workshop, held at the headquarters of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA), was attended by the CEO of the SBA and the President of the Saudi Media Forum, Mohammad Al-Harthy.
The workshop targeted the prize arbitrators and addressed the mechanisms and models of arbitration to ensure the flexibility and effectiveness of the arbitration process and the evaluation of the participating media works. This facilitates the arbitrators in making appropriate decisions based on specific and objective criteria.
Al-Harthy emphasized, in his speech at the workshop, that the third edition of the Saudi Media Forum Prize is witnessing unprecedented interest, with the number of nominees exceeding 2000 across various fields. He pointed out that the high number of nominees reflects the keenness, trust, and interest of journalists, creators, and content producers in being part of this prestigious award.
